Sr Finance Analyst, APAC
About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Senior Finance Analyst to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decisions across the APAC region. This role will report directly to the Senior Director – Business Control, APAC and will partner closely with country and regional leaders.
This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis, while acting as a trusted advisor to business partners. The role offers exposure to diverse markets, business models, and stakeholders in a truly multinational and multicultural environment.
Success in this role requires a sharp numerical instinct and the ability to quickly judge whether analyses and insights are sound. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with commercial acumen and can translate complete data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Review P&L performance against budget, forecast, and prior year; investigate variances, provide management commentary, and coordinate corrective actions where required.
- Support the update, maintenance, and development of Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and presentations for submission to headquarters and regional function stakeholders.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support to assigned business units, partnering directly with mid-level to senior-level management.
- Conduct financial evaluations of new and ongoing business initiatives, as required.
- Prepare business cases, including robust financial forecasts and discounted cash flow analyses, to support investment and strategic decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on initiatives and projects relating to profitability, productivity, and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with headquarters, regional and local country Finance teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related field; professional certification (eg. CPA, ACCA or CIMA) is preferred.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business control (including accounting), preferably within a large and complex multinational organization. Prior experience in an audit firm is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions, with expertise in data visualization, dashboard creation, analytics (eg. scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis)
- Hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards; exposure to OneStream consolidation is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, key business drivers, and performance KPIs, with strong commercial acumen.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards, and familiarity with business intelligence/reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving and systemic thinking skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across levels, regions, and functions, balancing partnership with financial control.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- High personal integrity, strong ethical standards, and cultural agility to operate effectively across both Western and Eastern business environments.
