About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Market Unit Manager (MUM) to lead the Food & Nutrition (FNN) team at Caldic Korea. This pivotal role is responsible for driving business growth, shaping market strategy, managing strategic accounts, and steering the overall success of the F&N segment.
As a Market Unit Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to key customers, leveraging Caldic’s portfolio and technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions that create measurable value. You will lead the development and execution of market strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and influence internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
This role requires strong strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to influence and inspire colleagues across the organization. Your contributions will be critical to achieving both short-term targets and long-term business objectives, positioning Caldic as a key partner in the Food & Nutrition sector.

Strategic Business Leadership & Growth
- Own the FNN business strategy, setting ambitious goals and driving execution to grow market share and revenues.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, turning potential leads into sustainable partnerships.
- Lead strategic accounts with a high level of ownership, ensuring proactive engagement with key decision-makers.
- Align internal resources and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and maximize business impact.
Account Management & Customer Influence
- Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts, acting as a key point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Understand customer business objectives and translate them into actionable account plans that deliver long-term value.
- Drive multi-layer relationships across the customer organization, ensuring comprehensive engagement and influence at all levels.
Technical Enablement & Market Leadership
- Champion Caldic’s and Principals’ portfolios, providing technical insights, product demonstrations, and training to customers.
- Proactively identify customer challenges and orchestrate innovative solutions that create mutual value.
- Partner with marketing, applications, and technical teams to execute strategic initiatives and enhance customer success.
Market Intelligence & Networking
- Stay informed on market trend, industry updates, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Actively represent Caldic and our Principals at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to strengthen our brand presence.
- Engage with industry leaders, monitor customer and industry developments, and refine strategies to stay ahead of emerging opportunities.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Oversee account performance, sales pipeline, and KPIs using CRM tools and reporting frameworks.
- Prepare and present business updates to management, highlighting key wins, opportunities, and strategic insights.
- Ensure alignment across internal teams to achieve seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Business, Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Food & Nutrition, Food Ingredients, or related industries, with a proven track record in strategic account management and business development.
- Leadership & Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence internal stakeholders, and drive business growth.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with a results-driven approach and ability to achieve ambitious targets.
- Relationship Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to effectively support product promotion, technical inquiries, and customer training.
- Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse market and customer data to guide strategy.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed to meet with customers.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
