Job Title: Power BI Expert
Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
About the Role
To support all BI needs and developments for the European region including development of dashboards, training the users as well as being the main point of contact between the Group BI and GDP (global data platform) teams and the region and translating the Group strategy for European requirements and needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Support
Deliver end-user training, workshops, and ongoing support to help both technical and non-technical users effectively use BI tools and reports. - Documentation & Adoption
Create clear documentation and promote user-friendly, accessible dashboards while working in an international, cross-functional European environment. - Power BI Dashboard Development
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that meet the needs of diverse business users and deliver clear, actionable insights. - Stakeholder Management
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and continuously improve reporting solutions based on feedback and business needs. - Global DAX Collaboration
Collaborate with the global team to design and implement DAX calculations and KPIs, ensuring consistent and reliable business metrics across regions.
Job Requirements
- Power BI Expertise
Proven experience developing and improving dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI for a wide range of business users. - Advanced DAX Skills
Strong knowledge of DAX for creating clear, reliable, and business-focused calculations and KPIs. - End-User Training
Experience delivering engaging training sessions and workshops for both technical and non-technical end users across different departments. - Clear Communication
Ability to explain BI concepts, dashboards, and reporting logic in a simple and understandable way for non-specialist audiences. - Patient Support Style
Patient and approachable attitude when supporting users, answering questions, and guiding colleagues through reporting challenges. - Accessible Mindset
Strong focus on creating accessible, intuitive, and user-friendly dashboards that encourage adoption and self-service reporting. - Stakeholder Collaboration
Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate feedback into practical dashboard improvements. - Continuous Improvement
Demonstrated experience improving existing dashboards through usability enhancements, performance optimisation, and user feedback. - Documentation & Guidance
Ability to create clear documentation, user guides, and training materials that help users independently work with BI tools and reports. - European Working Environment
Experience working in an international or European organisation with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
