Job Title: Master Data Management - Domain Lead Relations
Location: Flexible within Europe (remote or site-based, with cross-entity coordination)
About the Role
The European Regional Domain Lead – Relations is responsible for the Relationships Master Data domain, covering customers, vendors, suppliers, and the links between entities (e.g., hierarchies, contracts, customer–product relationships).
This role ensures consistent, standardized, and high-quality relationship data across European entities and plays a key role in aligning local practices with global data governance frameworks. The Domain Lead acts as a strong self-contributor who can influence stakeholders, drive standardization, and support data transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination & Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local Customer and Vendor Data Stewards
- Provide guidance on relationship data standards, validation rules, and request handling
- Support onboarding and training of new local stewards
- Escalate complex or cross-entity relationship data issues to the European Master Data Manager
Quality & Standardization
- Monitor customer and vendor data quality KPIs and identify inconsistencies
- Review and validate master data requests related to customers, vendors, and hierarchies
- Support data cleansing and harmonization activities, especially during ERP rollouts
- Promote standardized data models, templates, and naming conventions across entities
Process & Tooling
- Identify process gaps and bottlenecks in relationship data workflows
- Provide structured feedback on tooling usability (e.g. D365, Syniti)
- Collaborate closely with IT, data governance, and architecture teams to improve processes
- Ensure clear documentation of regional practices and approved exceptions
Governance & Collaboration
- Ensure local relationship data practices align with global governance frameworks
- Contribute to the development of regional RACI models and role definitions
- Act as a connector between business stakeholders (sales, procurement, supply chain) and IT
- Support audits and data quality reviews as required
Key Deliverables
- Regional customer and vendor data quality reports
- Issue logs and root-cause analysis summaries
- Standardized documentation for relationship data processes
- Training and onboarding materials for local Data Stewards
Job Requirements
- Experience in Customer, Vendor, or Business Partner Master Data Management
- Strong understanding of relationships, hierarchies, and links between entities
- Familiarity with ERP systems (D365 preferred; SAP acceptable)
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, and standardization initiatives
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across Europe
- Highly process-oriented, detail-focused, and self-driven
- Able to operate at the intersection of business and technology
- Fluent in English
