Job Title: Master Data Management - Domain Lead Product 

Location: Flexible within Europe (remote or site-based, with cross-entity coordination)

 

About the Role

 

The European Regional Domain Lead – Product is responsible for the Product Master Data domain across European entities. Acting as a key connector between local data stewards and the central data governance team, this role ensures high-quality, compliant, and standardized product data that supports business operations, regulatory requirements, and transformation initiatives.

The role plays a critical part in defining product data rules, supporting data quality and cleansing activities, and ensuring alignment between operational needs and global governance frameworks, particularly in environments with complex or regulated products.

Key Responsibilities

 

Coordination & Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for local Product Data Stewards across European entities
  • Provide guidance on product data standards, validation rules, and governance principles
  • Support onboarding and training of local stewards on product master data processes
  • Escalate complex or cross-entity product data issues to the European Master Data Manager

 

Quality, Regulatory & Consistency

  • Monitor product data quality KPIs and proactively identify inconsistencies
  • Review and validate product master data requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Support data cleansing activities, particularly ahead of ERP rollouts (e.g. D365)
  • Promote standardized templates, naming conventions, and classification structures
  • Support the management of regulatory and technical product data, including data sheets and hazard-related attributes

 

Process & Tooling

  • Provide feedback on tooling usability and process bottlenecks (e.g. D365, Syniti)
  • Collaborate with IT, data governance, and architecture teams to improve product data workflows
  • Ensure documentation of regional product data practices and approved exceptions

 

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure local product data practices align with global governance frameworks
  • Contribute to regional RACI definitions and role clarity within the Product data domain
  • Support audits, data quality reviews, and regulatory data assessments as needed

Key Deliverables

 

  • Regional product data quality reports and issue logs
  • Documented product data standards, rules, and exceptions
  • Training materials and onboarding support for Product Data Stewards
  • Input for tooling and process improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

 

  • Experience in Product Master Data Management or data operations across multiple sites
  • Background in quality, regulatory, QHSE, or product data management is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems ( e.g., D365 preferred) and data platforms such as Syniti
  • Experience with product data sheets, regulatory attributes, and hazard-related data
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across countries
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Fluent in English
