Job Title: Global Planning Leader
Location: Flexible within Caldic footprint; global travel required
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Role purpose
Collaborate with regional teams to design and lead Caldic’s global Planning and S&OP operating system to deliver reliable service, working‑capital efficiency, and execution stability. Enable Project Meridian, uplift S&OP maturity, stabilize S&OE, standardize master data, digitize planning, and build the pathway to IBP.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own global S&OP strategy, roadmap, and governance
- Run global S&OP cadence: decision rights, escalation, analytics, templates.
- Lead S&OE stabilization and exception‑management routines.
- Own planning architecture (demand, supply, inventory) and master data governance.
- Lead deployment of planning systems (APS/S&OP platform) and manage consultants.
Build global dashboards (forecast, service, variability, adherence)
- Own global inventory strategy and replenishment discipline.
- Integrate Commercial, Procurement, Operations, and Finance into one planning process.
- Lead Meridian planning workstreams and maturity uplift.
- Build Planning COE capability and job architecture.
Decision rights
- Ownership of global S&OP design, standards, governance cadence.
- Authority to intervene where planning discipline or data integrity fails.
- Joint accountability for service, inventory, and stability outcomes.
Key interfaces
- Regional Operations & Supply Chain; Commercial Directors; Market Leaders.
- Procurement; Manufacturing/Value‑Add Ops; Site Leadership.
- Finance (planning, scenarios); IT/Digital (tools, data, analytics).
- Transformation Office / Project Meridian.
First 6 months – non‑negotiable deliverables
- Global S&OP maturity baseline + 12‑month roadmap.
- Stabilized S&OE routines with clear ownership.
Global S&OP governance live (cadence, decision rights, templates)
- Standardized planning processes + master data rules.
- Meridian planning blueprint delivered and mobilized.
- Planning COE structure + capability model launched.
- Global KPI framework deployed.
KPIs (illustrative)
- Forecast accuracy & bias; demand variability; plan adherence.
- OTIF; back-order health; supply adherence; exception closure.
- Inventory turns, DIO, working capital; expedites and disruption cost.
Skills
Deep demand, supply, capacity, and inventory planning capability
- Experience deploying planning platforms and standardizing master data.
- Operator mindset: execution‑ready, fact‑based, clear ownership.
Job Requirements
Required, Education & credentials
- 15+ years in Planning/S&OP/E2E Supply Chain across multi‑region environments.
- Proven success scaling S&OP maturity and governance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; APICS/ASCM certifications desirable
Preferred
- IBP Evolution Experience.
- Distribution + value‑add manufacturing background.
- Consultant‑led transformation experience.
- Network planning and inventory optimization expertise.
