About this role

The Credit Collection Executive will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding dues, and maintaining healthy accounts receivable. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and proactive follow-up with customers to minimize overdue payments

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding and overdue receivables.
• Follow up with customers for timely payment collection through regular calls, emails, and reminders.
• Collect, track, and accurately allocate customer payments in the system.
• Prepare and share periodic reports on collection activities and accounts receivable status.
• Visit critical customers in cases of non-payment or long outstanding debts to resolve payment issues.
• Coordinate closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR) team and Sales team to address payment delays and resolve disputes.
• Handle and resolve payment-related issues arising due to taxation, with basic understanding of GST and other applicable taxes.
• Liaise with the internal tax team to resolve tax-related non-payment concerns.
• Ensure adherence to company credit policies and support improvement of collection efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure smooth communication and service excellence
• Act as a liaison between customers, sales teams, internal stakeholders, and global suppliers.
• Prepare business reports, sales forecasts, and customer transaction records
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to manage purchase requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Comerce, Accounting or related field required
• 3-4 years of experience ( Chemical Industry background)
• Strong Communication skills
• Proven experience in credit control or collections.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent team development and leadership skills
• Experience in sales support, customer operations, or commercial roles
