Key Responsibilities

As a Food Application Intern in the Food Application Development Team, you will:

  • Assist in the formulation and development of food prototypes using modified tapioca starches, plant proteins, natural flavor extracts, texturizing agents, dairy starter cultures, natural colors, cocoa powder, hydrocolloids, and other specialty ingredients.
  • Conduct laboratory trials to evaluate ingredient functionality, stability, and sensory attributes in various food applications.
  • Support technical documentation, including formulation reports, test results, and application guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize recipes and troubleshoot formulation challenges based on customer requirements.
  • Assist in sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and other analytical tests to assess product performance.
  • Maintain lab equipment, ingredient inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in customer presentations, demos, and technical discussions to showcase ingredient applications.

This internship provides hands-on experience in food application development, ingredient functionality, and innovation within a dynamic food ingredient distribution environment.

Job Requirements

• Qualification- Graduate or Post graduate in Food science and technology. 
• Good Communication Skills
• Basic knowledge of Ms Excel,word , Powerpoint
• Good interpersonal skills
