Job Title: Intern - Data Entry Operator

Location: Mumbai, Mahalakshmi

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Duration : 10-12 months

Finance Background candidates are preferred 

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry- Intern to support our Master Data Management (MDM) and finance operations team. This role involves working closely with business, supply chain, and finance teams to maintain accurate data in systems and support day-to-day operational activities.

This is a 10–12 months internship opportunity, offering a great starting point for candidates looking to build a career in finance, data management, and JDE Edwards systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data entry and maintenance of customer, vendor, and item master data in the system
• Support vendor creation and updates ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
• Maintain and update muster rolls and operational data records as required
• Review and clean data by identifying duplicate, redundant, or inactive records
• Help ensure compliance with requirements such as GST, TDS, MSME, and KYC/KYS documentation
• Update price lists and relevant data in systems like JD Edwards (JDE) based on approvals
• Act as a support point for resolving basic queries related to customer/vendor data
• Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Supply Chain, IT) for data-related updates
• Assist in MIS reporting and data processing tasks
• Provide support during internal and statutory audits related to data and documentation
• Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives within the MDM function

Skills

• Proficient in Advance Excel 
• Strong  problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills
• Candidate must be proactive and solution oriented
• Should be able to work under demanding timelines and challenging requirements
• Must possess good interpersonal and team working skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying control gaps 

Job Requirements

1. Background in Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred)
2. Minimum of  2-3 years of experience .
3. Proficient in MS Office-Excel/Word/Outlook
4. Experience of working on JDE is an added advantage, though not mandatory
