We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead the chemicals category for BrandNu Laboratories. In this highly visible role, you will shape and execute sourcing strategies that strengthen our supply chain and drive operational excellence.  You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement forward-thinking sourcing and procurement strategies, build and nurture strong relationships with key chemical suppliers, and ensure reliable, agile supply aligned with the company’s growth objectives.  This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategy, build meaningful partnerships, and contribute to a high-performing, innovation-driven organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Perform supply market analyses and use sourcing tools to identify suppliers with capabilities which meet business needs
  • Support the RFx process, contract negotiations, and ensure contract deliverables are realized, e.g., SLA’s, Savings, etc.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with any agreements, internal policies, and procedures
  • Invoice and AP reconciliation
  • Assist in quality issues resolution, SCAR follow up, etc.
  • Manage day to day supplier interactions, negotiations, and escalation requirements 
  • Create, review and approve purchase orders in the workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits
  • Work within requirements, draft, and handle workflow for Scopes of Work (SOW) covering commercial terms
  • Track the expiry of the contract's term and alerts sourcing manager and stakeholder(s) for existing contracts
  • Support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives which normally includes, but is not limited to, coordinating supplier governance meetings, creating/distributing scorecards, working with partners to review performance metrics, reporting SRM meeting action items, and tracking resolutions

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Procurement or Compliance
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience in market research to analyze markets, identify trends and new opportunities for cost reduction
  • Pharma experience preferred
