Business Systems Analyst

The Business Analyst will act as the strategic link between business operations and technology teams, driving efficiency and innovation across the manufacturing and supply chain domains. This role involves assessing business processes, defining technical requirements, supporting ERP systems, and delivering data-driven solutions that enhance operational performance. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and business-savvy, with strong communication abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • ERP system SME and technical support for use and user access requests
  • Technology Assessment: Work with functional leaders to identify technological needs and assess existing systems. Understand business processes and challenges to recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Solution Implementation: Assist with the deployment and configuration of new technology solutions and systems. Develop work with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.
  • User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies, software applications, and best practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure optimal use of technology resources.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of implemented business processes and systems and gather feedback from users. Identify areas for improvement and work on enhancing systems over time.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all business processes and systems, including user manuals, configuration guides, and process documentation.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all technology solutions comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations. Work with IT teams to implement necessary security measures and conduct regular audits.
  • Project Support: Assist with technology-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Collaborate with project teams to ensure project goals are met.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in science, business analysis or related field
  • Strong technical expertise in software and hardware systems
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • 3-5+ years of Warehouse, Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain experience
