About the Role
Caldic Nordics is looking for a proactive and hands‑on Health & Safety Manager to strengthen our safety culture across our Nordic operations. If you enjoy working close to people and processes, turning policy into practical action, and driving continuous improvement, this role could be your next step.
About the Role
You will lead and coordinate Health & Safety work across our Nordic region — including our production site in Malmö, our site in Stockholm, and our offices in Denmark, Norway, and Finland. Your focus is to ensure compliance, reduce risks, and support managers and teams in creating a safe and healthy workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and strengthen the Health & Safety agenda across our Nordic operations, driving continuous improvement
- Partner with managers and teams to turn safety standards into practical daily actions
- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence across operations and production environments
- Identify and manage critical risks, including chemical safety, ATEX, LOTO, contractor safety, and emergency preparedness
- Lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments, ensuring effective corrective actions and continuous learning
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, accountability, and leadership support
- Deliver training, awareness initiatives, and practical guidance adapted to different work environments
- Monitor performance and support data-driven improvements through corporate H&S systems and reporting tools
- Collaborate across the Nordic region and with European H&S teams to share best practices and support strategic initiatives
Skills

Technical safety expertise — knowledge of ATEX, LOTO, chemical safety, and machinery safety

Risk management skills — strong capability in risk assessments and incident investigations

Training & influencing ability — proven experience educating and guiding employees at all levels

H&S management systems — familiarity with Health & Safety systems, including ISO 45001

Cross‑site collaboration — comfortable supporting multiple sites across production and office environments

Language proficiency — fluent in English and Swedish; additional Nordic language is a plus
Job Requirements

Relevant academic degree — Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Risk Management, or similar

Safety certifications — such as BAM, SAM, or equivalent

Professional experience — minimum 5 years in Health & Safety, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical settings

Documented H&S background — experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and employee training
