Are you energized by meeting customers, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into business? At Caldic, we are looking for a Customer Development Manager to strengthen our presence in Denmark and build meaningful, long-term partnerships with our customers.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, engaging with people, and taking ownership of their own success. While you will be part of our Savory segment and have the opportunity to focus on savory food applications, your impact goes beyond a single category.

Key Responsibilities
As Customer Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth through strong customer engagement and proactive sales efforts. You will:
- Take ownership of a customer portfolio, developing and growing both existing and new relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a proactive, opportunity-driven approach
- Spend a large part of your time in the field, regularly visiting customers and understanding their needs firsthand
- Drive sales by translating customer insights into tailored solutions from the Caldic product portfolio
- Work closely with customers to define growth plans, targets, and long-term strategies
- Take responsibility for pricing, agreements, and overall portfolio performance
- Build strong, long-term partnerships through consistent and value-driven interaction
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, product management, R&D, and external partners
- Contribute to commercial strategy and growth within the Savory segment
This role involves frequent travel, with approximately 40% of your time spent visiting customers across Denmark.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong drive to engage with customers and grow business. You likely have:
- Initial experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with a clear interest in commercial development
- Experience in the food industry is a big plus
- A natural ability and genuine enjoyment in interacting with customers and building relationships
- A proactive, curious, and resilient mindset, with the ambition to learn and grow
- A strong commercial instinct and a hands-on and “can-do” attitude
- Fluency in Danish and English is required.
