Customer Development Manager

About the Role

We are now strengthening our organization by establishing a new sales position in Scandinavia with focus on CASC (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Construction), Polymers and Other Industrial. You will independently approach customers and be part of further developing our sales department with focus on growth. You will report to our Sales Leader Nordic Industrial.

 

You will be based in our new Nordic headquarters in Malmö. but to thrive in the role, you are prepared for and happy with 100 - 120 days of travel per year. International supplier contacts, participation at exhibitions and cross-border thinking/sales are part of the game.

Key Responsibilities

As Customer Development Manager, you will acquire and develop new accounts with the goal to establish good and long-term customer relations. You will spend a lot of your time with our customers which require you to be an independent person. At your assistance you have our team of customer care professionals and Product Managers both in the Nordics and in Europe that assist and support the sales. This means that you need to be able to work together with your colleagues and have a team work mindset.

Skills

As a person, you have a strong sales drive and are thrilled by delivering growth. You are eager to learn, passionate about whatever you work with, structured and have a positive mindset and a good eye for details. You are proficient in at least one Scandinavian language and English, both written and spoken.

 

We believe you have a university degree within chemistry, polymer, business administration or equivalent. You have previous experience of working in B2B sales, probably in chemical distribution. Experience from sales and/or technical support within the chemical industry will be an advantage.

Job Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in at least one Scandinavian language and English
