With our new Innovation Hub in Malmö, Sweden, Caldic Nordic holds a unique and influential position in the market. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop sales in Finland while collaborating closely with Nordic colleagues and international partners. The focus will be on savory products but you will also be active within dairy. 

 

Key Responsibilities

As Customer Development Manager – Savory, you will be responsible for driving commercial success and sustainable growth within your customer portfolio. You will:

 

  • Lead commercial sales activities within the Savory and Dairy segments

  • Develop, expand, and manage relationships with both existing and new customers

  • Define plans, targets, and strategies for long-term growth together with your customers

  • Own pricing, contracts, and profitability for your customer portfolio

  • Drive the development and sales of the full Caldic product portfolio

  • Act as a trusted, consultative partner in customers’ product development processes

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, product management, R&D, and external partners
  • Support Nordic colleagues and contribute to regional market development

  • Stay ahead of market trends, insights, and customer needs.

  • This role involves regular travel within Finland and the Nordics, with approximately 120 customer meetings per year.

Skills

To succeed, you bring:

 

  • Relevant commercial and/or technical experience in sales, purchasing, or product development within the food industry

  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills

  • A commercial mindset combined with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • The ability to understand customer processes and translate needs into value-adding solutions

  • Confidence in discussing product development in a consultative and collaborative way

  • Curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong interest in food market trends

Job Requirements

Fluency in Finnish and English is required.


A degree related to food science, chemistry, or culinary arts is a strong advantage, but not mandatory.
