Account Management Specialist

About the Role

The role is pivotal in driving strategic growth and operational efficiency within the business. It should focus on optimizing processes, improving cross-functional collaboration, and implementing innovative solutions to meet the company’s objectives. Key milestones include enhancing productivity, reducing operational bottlenecks, and driving significant revenue growth.

 

The position will also be responsible for resolving challenges related to resource allocation, market competitiveness, and scaling the business sustainably. The role reports directly to the Industry Manager, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy, and will oversee a diverse team spanning multiple departments. This person must act as a bridge between departments, fostering teamwork and ensuring seamless communication. Success in this role will be measured by its contribution to measurable business outcomes, including profitability and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Search and prepare market data as well as internal data to identify potential for growth.
  • Visit existing and find new customers for business reviews, negotiations and product presentations. Maintain and develops frequent contacts with customers.
  • Propose the sales budget and sales forecasting, prepare the regular reports.
  • Follows up the outstanding invoices and contact clients in case of the late payments.
  • Take ownership and accountability for implementing Account Business Plans. Leverage internal system for information related to call planning, customer identification and contacts management, account strategy and planning and customer needs follow up.
  • Responsible for achieving the sales target given.
  • Making growth plan to increase customer base along with introduction of new products in existing customers.
  • Act in accordance with the applicable company compliance guidelines.

Job Requirements

 

  • B. Pharm/M.Pharm or Life Science background.
  • Minimum 8-10 years in the Chemical industry or related industry.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing and growing key accounts.
  • Able to engage customers at all levels of their organizations including at top level senior management
  • Command of both written and spoken English as well as local language.
