Supply Planner, APAC

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supply Planning & Optimization:
    Develop and execute supply plans to ensure timely product availability across the APAC region while optimizing inventory levels.
    Balance supply and demand by coordinating with demand planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
    Analyze capacity constraints and recommend adjustments to meet regional requirements.
  2. Inventory Management:
    Monitor inventory performance, including stock levels, aging inventory, and slow-moving products.
    Implement strategies to minimize stock-outs and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
    Drive continuous improvement in inventory turnover rates and working capital.
  3. Supplier Coordination:
    Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery and manage lead times.
    Address supply chain disruptions or delays by identifying alternative sourcing or mitigation strategies.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Partner with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
    Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align supply plans with business objectives.
    Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making at the regional level.
  5. Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    Generate regular reports and dashboards on supply performance, highlighting key metrics such as service levels, costs, and delivery times.
    Implement advanced analytics tools to enhance supply planning accuracy.
  6. Process Improvement:
    Develop and refine supply planning processes to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness.
    Lead or participate in projects focused on supply chain digitalization and automation.
    Stay updated on best practices and trends in supply chain management.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or similar
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Regional or multi-country experience, particularly in the APAC region, is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data sets.
Proficiency in supply chain planning software/tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders across diverse functions and cultures.

Technical Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Query, & PowerBI
Familiarity with ERP and supply chain management systems.
Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain optimization principles.

Language Skills:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of an additional APAC language is an advantage.
