Global Analytics & Insights Lead (Finance & HR Analytics)

About the Role

This is a strategic enablement role – enabling leadership in building a “data informed” organization, processes and decision making. The successful candidate will be someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with global and regional C-suite leaders, to drive towards a common vision and goals. This role will enable building a common data and analytics foundation for Caldic globally. It brings data driven insights and sustainable solutions to enhance Caldic group-wide strategy, cross-regional coordination, change management and most importantly, supporting the strategy execution and common performance measurements.

This role will initially be assigned to the Finance and HR analytics; however, the scope of assignment may be adjusted over time based on the development needs of the individual, organizational priorities, or evolving business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and business performance analysis and analytics solutions to the global and regional leadership teams for the purpose of design and implementation of strategic or functional excellence initiatives. 
  • Drive cross-regional coordination and collaboration on building common data analytics foundation to support finance reporting, planning and performance management functions
  • Lead, design and drive key projects to bring structural data-driven and analytics capabilities to improve the effectiveness of the organization.
  • Support alignment of common performance measurements across regions and drive regular monitoring to inform implementation of strategy, specific group targets and action items.
  • Support design and implementation of performance management planning/budgeting tools to enhance existing practices and prepares processes for path forward. Conduct training on how to effectively use the developed tool as a part of roll-out plan.
  • Lead the short-mid-long term roadmap of function specific data analytics capabilities
  • Develop balanced scorecards, key metrics and indicators to consult the global and regional functional leaders on the implementation of key strategic initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and support the mitigation strategies.
  • Support the adoption of key business tools and initiatives to improve data quality, use of analytics dashboards, planning budgeting/forecasting tools etc.
  • Coach and work collaboratively with regional analyst teams in support of various global and regional functional excellence initiatives.

Position Requirements & Key Abilities

  • University degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance analytics, FP&A, controlling, or performance management.
  • Strong understanding of financial data, including financial reporting structures, planning and forecasting data, and key finance KPIs. Ability to translate finance and business requirements into meaningful analytics, dashboards, and insights for decision-making.
  • Strong data management skills with experience of analytics development in Microsoft Fabric, PowerBI etc.. Demonstrated experience and familiarity with star schema data modeling concepts and building/managing efficient semantic models in PowerBI
  • Excellent coordination/communication and organization skill, initiative, self-motivated, multi-tasking, good ability to prioritize workload, and with flexibility to work extended hours.
  • Strong presentation skills both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, diverse group, other cultures, and complex environments. Fluency in English
