Corporate Application Manager

Job Details

Job Title: Corporate Application Manager

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

About the Role

We are looking for a Corporate Applications Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of critical corporate applications that support our global business operations.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, business engagement, governance, and vendor management. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of key business applications while partnering closely with stakeholders, application owners, architects, and external service providers.

Unlike traditional people-management roles, success in this position comes from your ability to influence stakeholders, manage vendors effectively, and drive operational excellence across a global application landscape.

A key platform within the portfolio is OneStream, making experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting platforms highly valuable.

Why Join Caldic?

This is an exciting time to join Caldic. Our IT function is evolving rapidly, and this role offers the opportunity to help define how enterprise applications are governed, supported, and scaled across a growing international organisation.

You won't simply maintain existing systems—you'll help shape the future operating model for corporate applications within a business that is actively investing in technology transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Application Portfolio Management

  • Manage the lifecycle of corporate applications, including financial reporting, consolidation, ERP, billing, and related business systems.
  • Oversee application environments, deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and release activities.
  • Ensure applications remain secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop a strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, data flows, APIs, and dependencies.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical business applications.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and escalation frameworks.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain application governance frameworks and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
  • Oversee user access management, segregation of duties, and periodic access reviews.
  • Support controlled and auditable change management practices.

 Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and application service providers.
  • Manage third-party vendors and outsourced support partners against agreed service levels and contractual commitments.
  • Lead governance meetings, performance reviews, and continuous improvement discussions.
  • Translate business needs into technology requirements and delivery priorities.

Skills

Who You Are

You are a collaborative and pragmatic technology professional who enjoys bringing structure to complexity. You thrive in international environments, build credibility quickly with stakeholders, and know how to balance operational excellence with business needs.

What Success Looks Like:

Within your first 12 months, you will:

  • Take operational ownership of the agreed corporate application portfolio.
  • Establish effective governance and onboarding processes for new applications.
  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and strategic vendors.
  • Improve service quality, operational performance, and vendor accountability.
  • Create a clear roadmap for ongoing application optimization and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL principles.
  • Experience managing external vendors and service providers.
  • Proven ability to engage business stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working in multinational, multicultural environments.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and influencing skills.
  • Analytical, structured, and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting platforms.
  • Experience supporting finance-related enterprise applications.
  • Exposure to governance, audit, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience within complex global organisations undergoing transformation.
  • Understanding of M&A integration activities and application consolidation.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise business applications and technology ecosystems.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • ITIL certification preferred.

Additional certifications such as TOGAF, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, DevOps, or ITIL Practice Manager are advantageous.
