Accountant (Non-Trade, AP)

Job Title: Account Payable Accountant 

Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• • Accounts Payable Management
    • Review and verify all supporting documentations for both domestic and offshore payment transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
    • Collaborate with banker to execute hedging/ forward contracts to mitigate foreign exchange risks
    • Accurately record and post invoices and payments into the JDE system
    • Record import duties and VAT; prepare comprehensive VAT input reports for monthly/quarterly tax filings.
    • Prepare cash flow projections for payables and perform timely bank reconciliations.

   

  • Collaboration & Month-End Support
    • Assist the finance team with month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

   

  • Deliverables:
  • • Adhere to assigned timelines and deliver tasks promptly while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
    • Ensure compliance with group accounting standards and compliance, tax and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

• Education & Experience
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable processes.
• Skills & Competencies
  • Experience in Oracle/JDE is plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and account irregularities.
• Interpersonal Skills
  • Clear communication
  • Capable of handling payment escalations.

  • Familiarity with AP aging reports and adherence to credit and payment terms.
  • Knowledge of established accounting and finance procedures.
